lovely tidy little 90 minute banger for when you want an early Friday evening cinema trip that’s not too emotionally or mentally demanding and you can just sort of sit back and let it lead you by the hand through this awkward little workplace/domestic drama full of liars and ideally Cate Blanchett is there and then you can get up out of your seat and walk home and it’s still early enough for you to basically have a full evening to yourself at home too. it’s basically for when you want that

all i wanted from this movie was for it to be inoffensive enough for me to fall asleep during it. unfortunately the script was so annoying that i was forced to i) stay awake and ii) to take out a notebook and start writing down everything that was pissing me off:
