Ender's Game 2013
It’s as if someone read the cliff notes version of the book… the aliens weren’t even named the same thing? I felt no emotional connection to Ender, we saw barely any struggle on Earth, and only saw success in training. There was no subplot of Peter and Valentine, so Peter just ultimately remained a bad guy with no redeeming qualities.

Life of Pi 2012
I’d say a very accurate movie version of the book. There were small details that were different; my favorite quotes were forgotten, there’s no forgotten love in the book, no sea turtles were eaten in the movie (probably a good thing). But overall, a good representation. Beautiful cinematography, some wonderful shots of different scenes.
