  A film laden with New Wave aesthetics. It ends up telling a captivating folk tale, resembling the old mythological tale of Ahalya from Ramayana. However, the freeze frames seems to be overdone at times (which is ofcourse a creative and a political decision taken by Mani Kaul and his team)
