Torn between 3 and 3.5 stars.
Had quite a fun time tbh. Obviously big themes about humanity but it’s quite obvious, very silly and maybe messy ?! Essentially results in something that isn’t much of a thinker or hugely memorable but wouldn't be mad about a rewatch?! Or possibly I should just stop making myself write a review after after film when I really have nothing of substance to say lol.

Really freaking loved this. Literally don’t know if I’m happy or sad or what, but I do know thanks to Rosie that the man who designed the font used in the credits is a convicted sex offender (victims include his daughter, sister and dog…).

Connell seeks vengeance for the tragic death of Marianne. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it was conquered in one - by a Trinity graduate nonetheless.
Ridiculous enough to make you smile and cringe. But kind of epic ?
Story and characters started strong but lost momentum for me past half way. Maybe due to the onslaught of action or just too reminiscent of the first one to feel authentic.
