Insidious 2010
i don't know why this film seemed terribly scary as a child. as an adult, i didn't find anything scary with this film. instead of feeling scared, i just laughed my heart out because a friend of mine was really scared during our movie night. for me, it really lacks that "gulat" factor and the storyline's way too bland and predictable. :))

my review will be a little different from others. this film is straight up boring for me, it lacks that build up suspense that people would love to see in a film like this. it's not an easy film to watch especially when you get bored easily and if you're picky.
BUT... i think it's great storyline wise. i believe it has a connection between greek mythology that's why it's better to read beforehand. it has a lot of symbolisms which are connected to Gods and Goddesses. I think this film's reviews will be subjective. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it kahit walang suspense :))

i loved how his film did not only focused on religion and it's views but it can also be related to other things. was sketchy about it first because it's kind of weird and i hated hugh grant's character from the start. but as the story builds up, it's actually a good one. i loved how detailed it is.
p.s. it's better to watch this with others so you could discuss. get a bebe if you can
