  I don’t get the hype. Personally, this movie sucked. I was waiting constantly to understand why it received so many accolades. And the movie never reached that point for me. 

  It’s a male gaze movie that subjugates that women can be treated like objects. This movie isn’t about Anora. It should’ve been named Ivan instead. I know more about his psyche and where he comes from rather than the so called protagonist.

  This movie was highly predictable. It was a snoozefest personally. It feels very been there, done that kind of thing. I can’t remember the name of the movie but it’s reminds me of a movie starring Nicole Kidman as a lobotomised Stepford wife.

  I mean I’m a strong believer in living it up for a couple of years and then everyone committing mass suicide (which is also why my current fav show is Carol and the end of the world), so that should tell you what intrigued me enough to watch the movie.
