I’m a huge fan of ultra-stylised sci-fi so this was a win in my books, slow to get going but super cool sound design and visuals that look like a Salvador Dali painting in the final act definitely scratched a weird sci-fi.
Also the bear mimicking shepherds voice is one of the most disturbing things I’ve seen in a movie.

This film is a beautiful emotional rollercoaster with no antagonist. Just a few insanely well written humans who feel so ordinarily interesting they don’t need to be special.
Every shot is gorgeous and meticulously thought out. The third act is a masterclass in visual storytelling and pacing with the soundtrack adding to the overwhelming feeling of lovesickness and what could have been.
The scene where Nora cried at the end totally broke me.

One of the most sociopathic characters ever put to film and the craziest bit. It’s not even fiction.
God I heard this movie was good but it’s absolutely fantastic. Andrew Garfield was brilliant and comedic standouts were the twins who epitomised frat boy comedy. But obviously Jesse Eisenberg is the standout. His portrayal of zuck manages to be sympathetic whilst also being one of the most anger inducing and dislikable people I’ve seen in a movie.
