  • The Will Smith comeback starts here man. Say what you want about the guy, but holy fuck he is amazing in this. He doesn’t speak much, making a change for him, but the lack of dialogue allows so much room for his facial expressions and body language to do all the story telling for his character, and he was incredible.

  • Using this to review the show, Mad Men.

  • Basically, the show is fucking incredible. Possibly the best show I have seen in terms of how complex it’s characters are. So many memorable lines, very impressive attention to detail, and all around fantastic story about people in the 1960s selling happiness in attempts to buy into it themselves.

  10/10 - one of my all-time favourite TV shows.

  • The most fantastic thing about Taxi Driver, is easily the character study of its protagonist, Travis Bickle. Travis is a lonely character - one that feels disconnected from society wherever he goes. As he says in the film; “loneliness has followed me my whole life.” With every human interaction that Travis sees happen around him, the audience can tell that he is jealous, and is looking for some sense of guidance in his life.
