Grand Theft Hamlet 2024
Honestly so endearing! It's a nice encapsulation of the Lockdown Madness and the end result is nice. The clearly scripted moments add to the hyperreality of all of it, mixed with the actual Hamlet script and all the GTA madness. Postmodern masterpiece.

Ok, I wasn't cider drunk for this screening so I could pay attention to the film without falling a sleep, and its actually v good! Not sure how much of this is in the original Nosferatu, but its a very nice spin on Dracula, making him more horrifying and at the same time focusing on Mina's lil crush on him. In any case, this version is very well exected, the cinematography is stunning, beautiful shots all around, inlcuidng viewable night shots (groundbreaking!). And Lily ate the role up!

I haven't seen something this bad in ages. All the actors seem to have forgotten how to act, the plot is nonsense and it's not helped by the editing which makes it more confusing. The CGI is bad, the dialogue is bad, everything is bad. I just don't get how something can be this bad. Getting old sounds terrifying if this is all Coppola can do now.
