Burning Days 2022
Intriguing concept, gripping story, excellent directing, but weak acting and dialogues... Burning days is the second movie I've watched from Emin Alper. It tells the story of a prosecutor who's assigned to a town called "Yaniklar". The storyline focuses on the affair between the townspeople and the prosecutor. The "pothole" symbolization and the "moral collapse" of the townspeople correlates perfectly. Directory, is breathtaking, the director advanced himself visibly. Unfortunately, storyline has some spaces and bad actings, but in overall presented masterfully. The movie never loses the interest of the audience, and always keeps the curiosity. Ultimately, a well-directed movie with interesting storyline.
