not the biggest fan of pre-60's films.
yes, the moon on 'Le voyage dans la lune' scarred me for life.
Humourous, funny and superbly well animated. A joy to watch.
I felt that despite a very pretty color palette, good cinematography and a cool performance by Phoenix, the film wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be.
Didn't particularly like, or, if I may, 'feel' the mix of Asian city aesthetics and L.A.
Although there were some very relatable moments to me, they always felt very brief and not that deep. The premise of the story was interesting, but predictable in most instances.
Not to the same standard…
I had the chance to re-watch this one a few weeks ago and I think I liked it even more than the first time.
Exceptional visuals (the apparent 'one-shot' is brilliant and extremely well executed), with fantastic shots that expertly tracked the moment of the plot in which the characters found themselves.
Probably the most appropriate lead actor for the plot, Keating plays fabulously alongside Norton and Stone, all of whom have very interesting roles and dynamics.
Excellent in terms…
