Skyfall takes everything that was great about Casino Royals and mixes it with classic Bond to create a blend that is shaken not stirred. This film redeems the piece of crap that was Quantum of Solace and cements Craig as one of the all time great Bonds.

As Good as it Gets is nearly as good as a film gets.

Well written and with solid performances from everyone (especially Nicholson) the film tends to wander a bit to reach it's conclusion but you'll forgive it that because you'll enjoy the journey.

Despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of rom-com's, especially those with Reese Witherspoon in them, I was pleasantly surprised when I didn't want to claw my own eyeballs out 30 minutes after this film started.

Starting with a nicely choreographed gunfight demonstrating that, despite appearing to be ordinary guys, Tom Hardy and Chris Pine are badass agents. The film then proceeds to throw the initial story arc out of the window before liberally pissing all over it…

Touching and poignant this biopic of Sam Childers, a violent drug addict biker, depicts his transformation to a dedicated family man who finds religion and later to a saviour for Sudanese children who have become the victim of war. Focusing primarily on Childers work in Sudan the film graphically displays the attrocities that are carried out daily and also the effect that his work has on his personal life and those around him.

Whilst I've found Butler's performances to be a little hit and miss his depiction of Childer's and the charisma and emotion will have this tugging at your heart strings.
