The first half of this film felt underwhelming for me. I was confused by what kind of combination of realism and fantasy the director wanted as class critique is the essence of this film. I also just cannot wrap my head around the final scene…is it all about connection, exchange, identity, or worth in a brutal society that throws women around disregarding their feelings ??
