Waited far too long to write anything about this and now it’s won a bunch, but I do think it’s great; the breathless escapism into screwball caper into quiet devastation is a great 3-act story. Ani’s a fantastic character, all tough-talking bravado until, against her better judgement, she lets herself open her heart. She shouldn’t have, and she knows she shouldn’t have. But how could you not?
