  One of my favourite movies to come out of Quebec since Leolo. An epic of interpersonal relationships filled with great yelling matches, electric drunk dance sequences, soy boys getting slapped in the face, lots of tears n smiles. I still can’t believe the scenes weren’t blocked, camera work felt choreographed harder than a Bob Fosse piece.

  Wow. What more could a retard like myself possibly ask for? I’ve been riding the high of Littyassmofo’s (Matthew Morales) energy since I mythically pulled his reels months ago on IG — a Zuckerberg-induced discovery of fate, chaos, and dumb luck. And now, here he is, framed through Griffin’s all-seeing, soul-stealing lens, also with strong, pungent hums of Hasidic Jewish presence throughout. What a dream.

  I crashed a bar mitzvah Harvey Keitel was at when I was 17 (with the face of a 13 year old) and told him this was my favourite movie and he was genuinely stunned (I hadn’t seen the movie I just wanted to impress Harvey Keitel)
