I am surprised that this movie isn't getting rated higher?? I absolutely loved it. I thought the tension was written incredibly well and the actors executed it perfectly, in my opinion. Love the colouring of the movie too. It just fits the atmosphere very well.

Hmm.. not sure about this one. It didn't hit me like the first one did. It is possible that it's because I've been watching a lot of Disney movies and, well, kids movies in general recently. I definitely need a break. I don't know though, I just wasn't as invested as I was with the first movie.

My god, what a BEAAAUTIFUL movie! The visuals are GORGEOUS, I don't know what else to tell you. It made me want to go swimming. Heihei, the chicken, was so funny and Pua is just adorable. I looove the idea behind this movie as a whole - venturing out into the big scary ocean. I also greatly enjoyed the dynamic between Moana and Maui. The songs, don't get me started, were SO catchy. I still find myself singing "How Far I Go" and "You're welcome". Watch it!!

Honestly, what a fantastic concept for a kids movie! It is exactly the kind of lesson I think would've been greatly beneficial for me at a young age. Emotions are fickly, complex little things and to make a movie about why we have those emotions and what each one does for us is so important for the little ones to learn. I loved it. If I have kids, I would show this movie to them to understand themselves a little better. If you're a parent, don't worry! There's things to learn for yourself too :)
