  Horror is the most exciting and creative genre in film right now. I loved Heretic. Hugh Grant is phenomenal and this film had me completely engrossed from the opening scene. I’d like another serving of prophet pie.

  Easily one of the most under hyped films of 2024. Yes, the plot is VERY similar to the first film for the better part of half of the film… but it does take a sharp turn in the third act. I am STUNNED that Denzel was not recognized by the Academy for his performance and Ridley Scott is an incredible filmmaker who has not received the adulation that he greatly deserves. I was mad at myself by the end for approaching this film with trepidation based on tweets and fellow reviewers. It’s a worthy companion to the beloved (2000) film and I will definitely revisit.
