Consistent with his previous animated film, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Wes Anderson pushes more boundaries in hybrid stop-motion animation. An enjoyable story with the humour and cast to be expected from a Wes Anderson animated film, and as good as the film is in growing from its predecessor with a fresh story, it is nothing absolutely groundbreaking. It strikes me as a more modern and stylised take on the ideas brought from Plague Dogs (1982).

Persepolis 2007
A touching autiobio that also made me reflect on realities and perceptions as much as the characters did. The style and direction in the cartoonish take on the violence and hardships one would expect of someone's life from revolution and war-torn Iran give it a charm, more down to Earth than say Waltz with Bashir.
