    Usually, crime-related films are about a crime that is unsolvable and a good detective that tries to solve it, although Se7en is inside this genre, the movie goes deeper on it, promoting a reflection on working relations and generational differences. Se7en is a good movie, not because it has Brad Pitt at it's peak and Morgan Freeman, but because it depicts how a man with no hope on future starts to regain it and at the end, looses it all over again in a way that he should have see it coming.

    Witnessing the decadence of something you fought so violentelessly to defend must be one of the worst feelings someone can have. And as I can see, the film represents how people are at the same time responsible for the society's downfall and incapable of doing nothing to reverse this process.     Before watching Whiplash, I thought it would represent a long story about a drummer that got to the top and saw that everything could be different as he changed his decision. But as you would expect, I was terribly wrong, this film is about a dream and how the main character deals with it as someone puts pressure on him, and makes you ask yourself "how much would you pay for your dreams to become true?". To be honest, it's a good movie, a good plot and an overrall, shows us what not everyone talks to us about success.
