  A fourth film was not needed! Some stars for nostalgia and Gru baby (the existence of this baby tells us that somehow Gru’s anatomy is suitable for successful reproduction).

  The Batman 2022

  ★★★½ Watched 04 Aug 2024

  It’s your classic dark batman story but, honestly, watching a man dressed like a leather clad furry try to be brooding and badass was kinda funny. Catwoman’s mask… no comment (in a bad way). I generally struggled to take the acting seriously in quite a few of the scenes. Got used to it as the film went on, though. It was otherwise a well done movie, I’m genuinely impressed by the set design.

  …And thus I continue my poorly documented and rather inconsistent quest to watch every Batman film in existence.
