Civil War 2024
As a photographer and journalist who has spoken with many conflict reporters and photojournalists, this movie captures the profession better than any film I’ve seen. I think the film has more to say about that specific occupation than an American Civil War which I found highly compelling. It examines the moral intricacies of a job that is vital for creating collective memory of human pain and atrocities but also the fact that the nature of the job can put your and other lives at needless risk. Good flick.
