The Man Who Wasn't There 2001
i definitely need to give this a second watch. this is the reason why i love cinema and filmmaking so much. the dry narrative of this story is so so spot on and blooms with every second the story unfolds. it gives you so much depth and raw emotions that can only be slightly surpassed by the beautiful, elegant, meaningful yet so simple photography. this is THE post modern love letter to film noir. i really enjoyed this!
