  I liked this movie, but *spoiler* never really thought she did it. I could watch it next time and have the total opposite reaction, though. I guess it’s all up for interpretation. I thought it was very clever and thoughtful. Honestly, this movie got dinged for me because Hulu wouldn’t allow subtitles, and since it’s at least half in French, I had to watch the audio description version which was quite annoying.

  I can’t really imagine anyone cares what I have to say about this movie, it was exactly what I expected but one of those movies I had always wanted to watch and I recently saw it was on Prime. Despite how silly I thought everything was, I thought their plan to “out game the game” was particularly so.

  It goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, this movie is gorgeous. The old animation style is so timeless and charming and sweet. But jeez, this movie is kinda freaky. I mean “fantasy island” where “boys don’t come back as boys”… and even Jiminy Cricket was kinda creepy with those girl dolls. But this is a classic that absolutely holds up

  I think I need to rewatch the last 30 minutes of this movie to fully understand how everything happened. I really enjoyed this movie!! I was totally surprised by everything.
