It was great to reminisce on his songs and see the activist he was. Of course, watching a movie in someone else’s dialect is hard, but it was worth the watch. I found it strategic to only focus on the last 5 years of his life, but I would’ve loved to see more.
The movie started confusing, but as the pieces came together I saw why having a beginning, middle, and end sequence makes Christopher Nolan so magical. Each movie he does is different. I also liked the way he made me seem like the character and how my own memory can’t be trusted either. It was creative and suspenseful all the way to the end.
The movie captivated the Osage people and their community. The beginning and the end displayed the culture and traditions beautifully. I believe it was important to showcase who they were before the movie displayed what happened.
The performances of all the actors were good.
The events of the film weren’t overly dramatic, but the way the movie was sequenced and the history of the murders made the movie watchable. I endured to the end and would love to see it…
