    A deep insight into fear, paranoia and the consequences in individuals belonging to a punitive system which remains vigilant.
    My guess at that beautiful last shot is that it represents the panopticon but from the top view, from the perspective of who might be or might not be watching.  The arc camera movement, a stripped down house and Gene Hackman playing the sax (the only one that doesn’t ask questions, yet the only one that he has conversations with). 
    A slow burned film, subtle but deep and with great character construction.

    Fucking oranges where brought to Latin America by spanish colonizers. All this movie feels like a lazy pretext for making more money with a washed up kids franchise. 
    Despicable, Paddington. You’re a wannabe Winnie the Pooh yet nothing but a prude.

    Acid, funny and an incisive critic to the system we are living in (specially in USA). The actors made an awesome job and the washdown psycho face of Michael Douglas is memorable (worth of been put right next to Jack Torrance psycho face) 
    The photography and art direction accomplishes to make you feel overwhelmed and stressed out. 
    Truthfully I think this movie is a hidden gem and a must watch.

    Back to when cinema was synonym of spectacle. Babylon portraits the blacks, the whites and the greys of being a star back then. Satire and homage mixed in a perfect blend. 
    The editing makes sure you get to the top and then with the “pop” of a champagne bottle brings you back to “reality”, at least the reality Babylon has created for us. And then step by step accompanied by the music you are taken again from the bottom to…
