Wathced it in theaters for the first time (was not born when it came out) and GODDAMN.
The sound is so so so much better in theaters.
The basilisk and the acromantulas are so so so much more terrifying.
The CGI is much more admirable, too.
Is it the best one? Nope, definitely not. But HP just hits too close to home not to rate it 5 stars.
Managed to cry only three times, so like... that's not too bad... right?
Watched for the second time while doing the dishes. I don’t know what was more wet, my hands in the soapy water or my eyes.
It resonates even more. The mere question of your purpose and potential haunting an almost 30 year old artist, while I, ten years younger, watches success unfold under layers of failure.
Strong, incredibly sad, yet so inspiring.
Andrew, you were robbed for that Oscar. Every performance in this is amazing, truly one of my favourite films of all time.
Ok. I know I gave it five stars. And I am fully biased and aware of it.
I just love the fourth film and book so much.
But cinematography in this one is just… not it.
But still 5 stars. Why? Because I get to decide how many stars I give it.
WHAT THE FUCK. THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS I HAVE WATCHED.
