  I couldn’t review this fairly if I tried. The previous two Eggers’ flicks actually got me to a movie theatre. I no longer spend my money on movies, I think. Damn.

  I loved Shin Kamen Rider. I feel like Ruriko now because none of my friends liked Shin Kamen Rider. I will never trust again.

  I love these gay marriage movies. (This one is for The Carloses.)

  EDIT: I have more to say, again. The main cast here is so lovable; a beautiful collection of gay teens in suppression mode, trying and failing to conform with a comical failure of a gay rehab program. It breaks your heart to watch them fight their own love, and it feels a bit like a funhouse mirror. You’ll be waving a handkerchief and hooting and hollering by the end. I was so happy when Dante Basco’s character showed back up, I wanted to give him a hug.

  Another perfect little movie to me. My girlfriend won’t watch it. Jokes on her. . . Some day, Alia Shawkat will stumble upon the homoerotically situated bones of me and a dear friend while she hikes through Oregon country. . . Goddamn I love First Cow. . .
