  Alright so this film isn't groundbreaking, but I gotta admit it's a fun ride. I've never seen a Richard Linklater film, so maybe I'm missing some high standards here. My cinephile friend says his movies are exceptional and he was let down by this particular one. But honestly, me personally, I enjoyed it. It’s well-paced and entertaining, even if it's not reinventing the wheel. If you’re up for some action, plot twists and almost coming-of-age in way kinda deal, give it a go. Maybe after watching Linklater's work, I'll feel differently or I'll just realize I don't have the refined taste of a true film connoisseur.
