There is one scene in this movie where Manikandan's friend mocks a person who is talking to himself while sitting in the park. Manikandan immediately steps in and advises his friend that what he did was wrong. He explains that we can't always understand the struggles someone is going through. The man might be dealing with personal issues that he is unable to share with anyone, and this could be his way of releasing stress. It's a powerful moment in the film, reminding us to be more empathetic toward others, as we never truly know the battles someone may be facing in silence. ❤️

    Officer on Duty

    ★★★½

Coming to Officer on Duty, the first half lays the foundation for the story and mostly deals with emotional drama. The second half shifts focus to the investigation side, and it was a decent watch. Kunchako Boban’s portrayal of the cop was impressive. The villain gang, played by Vishak Nair and team, delivered a terrific performance. The screenplay, penned by Shahi Kabeer known for his work in police stories was well-crafted. However, compared to his previous works, Nayattu and Joseph, Officer on Duty didn’t quite reach the same level. Still, it was a good watch.
