holy shit, i was gonna try and write something funny but then the ending hit me like a shit tonne of bricks, i don’t know why i expected anything different for a ‘lesbian love story’ (maybe this is the OG tragic sapphic trope) but for an american 60’s film to explore a story like this and it actually hold weight, my jaw is on the fkin floor and i feel a bit sick
ps the casting director did a top job picking a kid with THE most punchable face in the history of earth
