When I saw the trailer for this, I was very excited because the premise looked interesting, but also the casting is unbelievable.
I truly don't understand how a director with only one credit to his name was able to cast Geoffrey Rush and John Lithgow as co-leads in a psychological thriller/horror film and they absolutely delivered.
I simply loved every minute of this film. The pacing is excellent, the story is intriguing and I didn't know where it was going.…

La La Land 2016
I hadn't watched this film in a very long time but thankfully I had the opportunity to show it to my best friend who, shockingly, had never seen it before, and on the big screen where it should be enjoyed.
Besides the issues I have always had with the weird sound mixing in the first scene, this is really as close to perfection as films can get in how technically flawless, cinematic, and visually stunning it is.

Call for Dreams 2018
It's easy to do a "Lynchian" film or a confusing film, but it's very difficult to do it while still finding a balance between reality and dreams and not just doing random things to confuse the audience without a purpose. This film in my opinion manages to do just that, it's unsettling, it's of course confusing and thought-provoking and yet there's something real seemingly going on, but it's just not (thankfully) easy to see what's real and what's the dream.

To the Moon 2021
This is a great film that reminded me a lot of "Black Bear" because of the setting and also because of the dynamics, however, it takes a completely different route to a very different ending.
The writing is strong and the acting is effective. It is very much a drama but the tension is always there. There is anticipation for something bad to happen, it eventually does and it culminates with a wonderful and memorable ending.
Great pacing, highly recommended.Translated from by
