Torn a bit, innit. I love when a documentary swings for the fences when it comes to lighting and colors. Definitely some out-there choices here in that regard, and they mostly all work. I didn't watch this again, but I only just found out that this is on Letterboxd, so I gotta review it to tell about the time I was in college and a woman I barely even knew invited me to her house to watch TV (maybe she thought it was a first date, I really don't know) and what she put on to show someone who was almost a complete stranger to her was freakin Elfen Lied. I respect the audacity, but I was so disgusted by what I saw that I left after one episode and never spoke to her again.
