This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It got a little weird at times with the sexual chemistry but I was truly shocked by the ending and I give a little bonus points for well lit scenes- the elevator shaft scene was beautifully done.

It Happened on Fifth Avenue 1947
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It seemed like one of Hollywood’s original RomCom’s with most of the funny bits still holding up today. Especially impressive for a movie created during this time there were only a few things I saw that were a little cringe worthy by todays standards. Very on par with Its A Wonderful Life when it comes to featuring veteran housing issues after the war. Great depiction of the need for socialist values within our society.
