I never thought i would actually enjoy a live action remake of a play, but here i am recommending this film to anyone who will listen. I can’t stop singing “and goodness knows the wicked die alone” 🎶 . What great performances. Enchanting music. Committed cast. I really appreciated learning Elphaba’s story and i can’t wait for part 2. I will say parts of this were way too predictable. Glinda really needs to learn when someone is doing the wrong…
I watched this wayyyy after it’s release (and all the attached hype) and I have to say, this is all Chris’ fault. He really frustrates me with his lack of thinking. I KNOW he can not be this stupid. It made me want to visit Italy and live in a cottage for three months shunning the world, but that’s about it. Timothee Chalamet’s performance is impressive but the plot feels lackluster - it doesn’t do enough to move me. Replace him and Armie with any other two actors and I doubt you’d have a…
