This movie does an amazing job at creating an uncomfortable environment. Phoenix and Johansson's back and forth dialogue, at times, makes you want to crawl out of your skin. They admittedly do a great job at doing that throughout the movie. Makes you hate the concept of having an AI companion, considering they could just get up and leave one day after finding their own AI soulmate.

Godzilla Minus One 2023
Minus One: Minus Color is the way to go.
Black and white perfectly encapsulates the emotions of this film; the contrast between the will to live and the desire of self sacrifice as a result of survivor's guilt. I imagine the color version portrays this story in a slightly more whimsical way. CGI and soundtracks tied the entire experience together. The story was gritty and genuinely tense at times, coupled with the quiet yet complicated love story, made this a very enjoyable watch.

Society of the Snow 2023
This film does an amazing job instilling immersion. At the beginning, even the sight of them picking at and eating their scabs was disturbing and gross especially while having some food during the watch. However, as the story progressed, the sight of bare bones and perfectly cleaned rib cages didn’t even cause grimace. Can only begin to imagine how much more desensitized they really became on the mountain.
