  Mikey Madison, a star is born

  A phenomenal start to the festival, Anora is the kind of dark comedy that hits all the buttons, perfectly balancing its laugh out loud moments with a deeper, more emotional core.

  When the credits rolled, I liked it but remained unsure of the ending. Now, with the slight benefit of time (30 minutes or so), I've only grown to love the film and the (dare I say perfect?) ending more.

  A second viewing is almost inevitable
