The film was an a culmination of mess. In my opinion the only positive of this film was Andrew Garfield’s acting. The topic of cancer was built up to be a huge deal however in the end, Florence Pugh’s character had an off screen death that amounted to nothing. There was no dialogue about it. There was no hint to it. There was simply just no gravity to the character’s death; and her cancer was the only plot of the film!! Overall this film made me feel like I had less time left in my life than Pugh’s character.

Nosferatu 2024
An unhinged horror that left me both in awe of how great it was as well as shocked at some of it. The design of Count Orlok was perfect and the sound design as well as cinematography was beautiful. The only thing that particularly made me cringe was the excessive sex. One scene in particular straight up screamed“if you fuck me the vampire won’t hurt us”. Despite this, I’d argue it was one of the best horror adaptations since the original Nosferatu.

The Holdovers 2023
This film is one of the greatest coming-of-age films that I have ever seen. It’s packed with raw emotion, brilliant comedy, interesting characters and a storyline that keeps the audience entertained unconditionally. Despite the star-studded cast, the best actor throughout this film is by far Dominic Sassa as Angus Tully. This film was his breakout movie and he does not disappoint with acting which is Oscar worthy. This film is a must see for any film lover (and I mean film because this film is shot beautifully in film

Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire 2023
A cinematic masterpiece. I was gripped from the get-go and not only were the visuals beautiful however Snyder orchestrated a beautiful soundtrack to accompany along side interesting dialogue and amazing performances from all of the actors. For those who haven’t seen this film I strongly urge you to as it is easily one of the best sci-fi films since Empire Strikes Back.
