A fresh take on the whodunnit genre! This one had me going back and forth on the identity of the killer for the whole film and found ways to stay fresh and clever for the entire runtime. I really liked most of the characters and the soundtrack ripped. The ending hits like a bus and makes you reanalyze the entire plot once you get what’s going on. One of those movies that has comfort movie potential.

I wanted to give this a shot but it truly is one of the worst movies in recent memory. The whole movie has very little happening since it’s clearly a movie to set up a larger universe. So it’s boring, the effects are bad, wayyyy too many cuts during action scenes, a script that is punishingly unpolished, and countless continuity errors of every kind. There was a couple scenes that got chuckles out of me and seemed to be purposely funny so it gets the smallest of boosts for that.

This was not the movie I thought it was going to be! The only thing I saw that I was expecting was some trippy visual effects here and there. I loved Cobb’s performance and the perfect ‘terminally online’ message behind the whole story. There was some moments that made me deeply uncomfortable too which is cool. I struggled thru the first half of the movie but the last 30 minutes tied it all together better than I thought they could. Overall feels a bit like a creepypasta movie but better done than most

First time seeing this in theatres and wow what a beaut! I love how every aspect of this film is just a bit of an upgrade over the 1st one, especially the acting of the kids. Also kind of impressive how much this one is laying groundwork for the rest of the series as opposed to the 1st one which is focusing on world building and establishing the context of the series. Dobby is goated
