  I think after watching it again, this film was more about how generational trauma can mold a person in good and bad ways. I love theater-like acting and Denzel does really well, playing honestly the bad guy. Viola Davis does amazing also, as the fiilm is really about how trauma and pass and effect differently. Ultimately the film reflects on death and the overall beaken of doing the wrong thing. At least that's what I got from it lol
