  I've been looking forward to seeing Mickey 17 since it got announced with that teaser of Rob in 2022! So it's definitely been a bit of a wait lol, but I gotta say this film was a total blast!

  It's very on the nose with it's political themes and anti-capitalist commentary compared to Parasite, but there is still so much to love. I totally loved all the performances in this, like you can tell just how much fun everyone was…

  A delightfully bizarre tale of emancipation, sexuality, self discovery, and the human experience told within the bones of a frankenstein like story! Yorgos continues to showcase why he's one of the most interesting directors working at the moment. I quite literally could gush about every performance in this they're all just incredible! The atmosphere and look are really unlike any movie that I've seen, a beautiful blend of 19th century and smoky color that somewhat feels almost like a painting. Idk what more to say about Poor Things besides, I totally loved it!

  “My pictures always come out”

  An existential Wes Anderson story told through a great meta narrative angle. Loved the emotional core of the film. And the message to keep telling stories, no matter what, even if you feel just as lost as the characters in seeking meaning. All of it just worked really well for me!
