The Menu 2022
i liked it. watched this from the perspective of someone who has worked at a prestigious michelin star restaurant was interesting. the types of guests were pretty accurately represented. the celebrity couple with the gold digging side-piece girlfriend, the know-it-all guy, the food critics with ridiculous vocabulary and the group of men who are on a "work trip" eating at a renounced restaurant for some reason. i think this movie is probably more liked by people in the industry versus those who aren't because if you get it, you get it.

this movie started out pretty good for me, and i have to admit i was entertained the whole time (which says a lot cause i have a very short attention span). but i was really disappointed with how the plot kinda dissipated after we find out about the satanic motives. i liked the overall vibe of the movie though. wasnt a fan of the marilyn manson/ joker vibe nics character was giving though
