Barbie 2023
Barbie is a beautiful drama film taking on heavy societal problems but put in childlike way, the production design, lighting, set design and cinematography are all so surreal and matches perfectly with the theme, the cinematography is almost 'too perfect' so to say, its all very static and smooth which is a style that i arent too big a fan of but still respect.

This film was beautifully orchestrated, bringing you joy, making you laugh, making you feel strong, making you feel powerless and so much more, this film is a bit of a different take on the classic Makoto style with a little bit more humor, yet it does not lack any emotion atall, its a journey in the film and emotionally, it also still gives that special Makoto feeling that no other film gives. I highly recommend its worth the watch!
