This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Not much has changed from 2001 but as I now see it from a first person perspective, the western ideals and moral code, or as to not put the blame on the west I would say the whole word, was and is twisted.
In the movie a lot of sex is going on and really explicit, but that's not the point. It's putting behind trust, values and camaraderie for selfish pleasures. The protagonists formed a beautiful friendship despite their differences…Translated from by
