  I’ve seen enough, give Pattinson the Oscar.

  Not as funny as I expected/hoped it to be, but perhaps that’s because of how real, or perhaps how plausible, the politics felt. Occasionally falters, but a very enjoyable yet bittersweet experience overall. Certainly my favorite of the year thus far.

  Genuinely bizarre. Unconventionally constructed at every possible level which I was actually pretty into at times. I found it strangely compelling despite ranging from kind of nonsensical and straight-up absurd, and I legitimately cannot tell how intentional any aspect of this production was.

  Regardless I’m glad it was made, especially when there are too little films being made that showcase an artist’s true, uncompromised, and original vision. Also Coppola is a Hofstra alum so that’s always gonna be a plus in my book :)

  Hot take but this is still my favorite Star Wars movie. It’s not perfect but I feel like all of its problems are more nitpicks than anything.

  Besides lightsaber duels, this movie has everything I love about Star Wars. It has great action, looks incredible, is packed with fun, interplanetary adventure and populated by great and memorable characters. It really just makes this whole expansive galaxy feel alive and lived in. Plus the final Vader sequence is all the lightsabering…
