  This series was fucking horrifying.
  The groundbreaking cinematography, outstanding acting, and an aptly-timed commentary made this feel far more like a documentary than a screenplay. Every episode shook me to tears. I cried for Katie and her family, for Jamie’s family. I cried for every educator working at that school and for the kids just trying to get through their days.   I remember being pleasantly surprised by the under 2 hour runtime, but DEAR GOD did it feel like it would never stop.
