With the risk of sounding insensitive: This generation doesn’t even believe men on dating apps when they say their height is 6‘0, if someone believes a guy saying he’s the son of a billionaire by only believing his words… they kinda had it coming. If you’re naïve enough to give a man you’ve known for a month 250k, this might be a good learning experience.

I went into this film not expecting a lot and I was proven right. It’s long. It‘s… bleak. It’s simply not as good as everyone told me it would be. What I found most surprising were two things: the first, that they managed to boil such an interesting story down into such a mediocre movie. The second, that Jared Leto was so completely unrecognisable that it took a friend pointing the character he plays out to me until I realised he was actually in the film.
