  Will definitely need to revisit this after reading more about the Greek military dictatorship, because while it was well photographed, well edited, and I find its politics sympathetic, a lot of the names and faces of characters and their real-life counterparts flew past me, unfortunately

  Fitting that this shares a title with a Napalm Death album because outside of other films like Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom, Punishment Park, and If..., that's the closest comparison I can conjure up in terms of sheer vitriol, outrage, and anger

  An exercise in sadism and barbarity but also surprisingly empathetic and disturbingly, depressingly prescient just over five decades later.
