Making a Lego movie as a biopic/documentary was definitely an interesting idea. I wasn't really sure if it would fumble it or not, but I think it was alright in execution.

This was an interesting film, even though it had some flaws.

I definitely thought casting a friendly, approachable guy as a serial killer was an interesting choice. It makes it a little creepier when you see him acting friendly, or having a good relationship with his daughter, since it shows how well he can hide the fact that he's a murderer from everyone else.

Though, it got a little ridiculous when he was able to escape so easily several times.…

The scenes involving Godzilla himself are intense and well-shot. The film doesn't shy away from the deaths and tragedy that would result from an actual giant monster attack. He also isn't depicted as more neutral like he is in other Godzilla films, where he's usually fighting an evil monster, and is closer to being a villain in this film.
