  After sitting with the film for the day and collecting my thoughts, I have some things to say. 

  If you’re going to go the devil/demon/satanist route, don’t pussyfoot around it and SEND THAT SHIT. Pull from satanic panic era evangelical art and propaganda that existed in the Clinton era. Give me blood and mayhem. Give me imagery you would only see in paintings like Saturn Devouring His Son or The Hell panel of Bosch’s Garden Of Earthly Delights.

  Boyhood.

  1994 was 4 years before I was born, and 23 years before I came to the realization of my own transsexual identity in 2018. Seeing Henry find himself, seeing him shoot the shit n' proudly cheese at the camera in his ill-fitted suit, I feel such comradery. I am not alone, I have never been alone, and I will never be alone. We have always existed, we will always exist, and even if we don't have vast communities we will have these experiences. Even if we are kept from each other, we will still be.
