I’m not the biggest fan of Nolan’s films, just simply they’re not my taste. But I really enjoyed this film. It was great to see Robert Downey Jr play someone a little more sinister and out of his kinda typical character, I really enjoyed his performance.
I can think it is my favourite of the Nolan films, and I thought the sound and lighting was used really well.
I’m not sure if I would rewatch only because it is so intense, but my dad said he would so

I didn’t enjoy it, I think the pacing bad and the dialogue was long and monotonous, without moving much along. It felt like it was trying to be the Grand Budapest Hotel but falls far short.
However Christian Bale was incredible like always, and the cast is great.
The music was terrible and there was nearly no background noise through the entirety of the film. The music that was used sounds like it was some copyright free music they downloaded offline.
